A program designed to help further stretch and challenge selected players at WPFC
A brand new invite only program that will launch at the start of the 2023/24 Season.
WPFC staff will invite players to be apart of this customized 20 Week Position Specific Program which will take place across the Fall & Spring Season
What does it involve
A high level invite only program for WPFC players. WPFC will invite the top 12 players across the club for their position for an extra hour of practice per week.
Players will be split into their positions (Defenders, Midfielders & Forwards) and each group will work with one of our Experienced staff members to excel in their position through key detail and high levels of repetition.
Our most gifted younger players will be given the opportunity to take part in the Ball Mastery group.
Key components to each session
Physical Development- Speed, Agility & Quickness work alongside Strength and Conditioning at the beginning of sessions
Unopposed Technical Work- High level repetition work based around the players position
Opposed work- Applying these techniques and skills in opposed situations relevant to the players position
Tactical Elements- Key Tactical Detail, Knowledge, Movement & Positioning will be implemented
